A new and exciting collaboration has emerged in the Estonian music scene as the 360-degree music company Backstage Records joins forces with Funki Factori, a specialist in analogue recording equipment, in a shared studio. Backstage Records opened its new, spacious studio in the heart of Tallinn earlier this summer, and from November, its capabilities are being enhanced by collaboration with Funki Factori.
The new Backstage Records studio, designed specifically to meet the needs of modern productions (including video recordings), is now equipped with Funki Factori's unique preamps and microphone collection, which provide warm and authentic sound quality during recordings. The collaboration aims to combine the best features of digital and analogue equipment to offer musicians a high-quality, inspiring environment to bring their musical visions to life.
According to Kaspar Kluge, founder of Backstage Records, the collaboration with Funki Factori is a valuable addition: "Our new studio is built to offer artists comprehensive support and state-of-the-art technical capabilities. With Funki Factori, we can take recording quality to the next level."
Margus Alviste, leader of Funki Factori, added: “Analog recording equipment has a charm that digital formats often can’t achieve. We’re excited to bring this unique experience to even more artists in the excellent acoustics of Backstage Records’ studio.”
